Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
Therein Within My Soul
-Linda Lee Lyberg
Therein within my soul
Are lives and loves mislaid
With memories from long ago.
They serve to make me whole
Teach me to not be dismayed
Therein within my soul.
The scars have taken their hold
Once fresh but now decayed
With memories from long ago.
No bitterness is the goal
A smile to be portrayed
Therein within my soul.
Though heartache has taken its toll
I refuse to be dismayed
With memories from long ago.
And if heaven has a scroll
With hope my name’s displayed
Therein within my soul
With memories from long ago.
