standing amid the jagged remains
 
of my scarred broken heart?

 
 
Nothing new, rather a familiar ocean of salt
 
my shattered spirit fights surging tides as I drown in
 
my oldest friend- “Oh, hello Sorrow. It’s been awhile.”
