Dawn whispers on wind

a soul stirs from night’s slumber

cool breeze on warm cheeks

Carpe Diem #1387 The Breeze at Dawn

Monday’s poem by Rumi:

The Breeze at Dawn

The breeze at dawn has secrets to tell you.
Don’t go back to sleep.

You must ask for what you really want.
Don’t go back to sleep.

People are going back and forth across the doorsill
where the two worlds touch.

The door is round and open.
Don’t go back to sleep.

  1. I’d like to say that I’ve finally ‘arrived’.
Imagine my surprise when I click on your post and see the pic, and ‘Dawn whispers’…… If you read mine you’ll see what I mean. I’m honoured to think as you do.😌
