Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
Lillian is hosting tonight at d’verse Poetics
She asks us to pick one category of brand names she has supplied, and use at least two of the words to write a poem. I chose the Perfume Name category, and I have highlighted those I used.
Whew!!!! I’m fanning myself! This is, as the hip youth of today say, HOT! And those last two lines are the icing on the cake! Good one!

This is sensual and lovely. This damsel with white shoulders is in high demand tonight….she’s appeared with Bjorn, then Jane..now you! Cleverly done with the words 🙂

It seems to me that the perfume list is inspiring some steamy poetry this week – and yours is no exception, Linda! Love the lines:
‘An alluring kiss
placed on tabu lips
as my silken dress slips
from soft white shoulders’.

Thank you Kim! Yes, I read some of the others. More reading today.
