Free Falling

Those early days of falling
I could hear your soul calling
the world looked fresh and new once more
my heart, when you walked through the door
leapt into strong arms and danced with joy
I kissed sweet lips with no other ploy
other than to make you mine forever
and with one secret wish to endeavor
to grow old together, to stay by your side
to die in your arms and evermore abide
