Gather ’round the stage, said he to the fevered crowd,
Drown yourself in another’s misery,
This wretched man’s last attire, Sunday’s best to meet his fate
Upon the funeral pyre he’ll burn, you’re not too late
But before the flames devour, beheaded he will be
A fitting destiny for a bloody murderer such as he!
