she is famous for spoiling her guests
Beautiful silver laid in proper manner,
for her delicious friends, only the best
Once seated to enjoy the savory meats,
only then do they realize that they are the feast.

That is one way to deal with uncomfortable Thanksgiving table controversies. Was it because the guests were acting like real turkeys? If the guests were a little spoiled, she may have wanted to use a brine, because that tends to make that a little less noticeable.
