Abstract

A silvered sheaf of moonlight
spills through the barren trees
dancing across the forest floor
calypso leaves dressed in finest hues
–Moonlight orchestra–
Abstract haunting melodies
in shades of persimmon
bronze- fire- amber harmonizing
as they howl to the wolf blood moon

  1. I really enjoyed this Linda, full of color and the moon – I really love that moonlight dancing across the firest floor! I love the moon! 🙂
BTW – The Super Blood Wolf Moon eclipse starts here on the West Coast tonight at 6:36 PM, with the full eclipse at 9:12 PM. Both times are Pacific Standard Time. Unfortunately, we may have clouds, so I AM BUMMED!

  2. Love this little ditty, Linda
I like the painting too, really nice. Is it one of your works. A lot of us got familiarized with the wolf blood moon this week. I know that it does cast a silver image on our hallway floor shining through our transom window.

  3. Is that your artwork too, Linda? It’s gorgeous, as is the poem.I especially enjoyed the ‘calypso leaves dressed in finest hues’ and the ‘…shades of persimmon / bronze- fire- amber harmonizing’.
