Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
I heard the red breasted robin singing today
His melody floated on the chilly morning breeze
So my friends our blooming time is not far away
For chartreuse young leaves are budding on trees.
His melody floated on the chilly morning breeze
He sang with pure innocence and joyous delight
For chartreuse young leaves are budding on trees
And vibrant wildflowers are a beautiful sight.
He sang with pure innocence and joyous delight
The words to his lilting song I could almost hear
These vibrant wildflowers are a beautiful sight
Enjoy, rejoice and sing for spring’s hope is near!
The words to his lilting song I could almost hear
So my friends our blooming time is not far away
Enjoy, rejoice and sing for spring’s hope is near
As I heard the red breasted robin singing today.

Just beautiful 🙂 And it brings back memories for me! When I lived in the Midwest I had a very hard time with winter. I always adored when I saw the first Robin 🙂

I like you looking at the robin from your own and from the robin’s perspective. Nicely done!
