Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
On hope’s wings comes the new birth of a season
As green life bursts forth, a time for fresh seeding
With every turn, turn, there is profound reason
While we pause, reflecting on life, and heeding.
As green life bursts forth, a time for fresh seeding
With joy we plant luscious fruits for tomorrow
While we pause, reflecting on life and heeding
With rich dirt on our hands, we bury our sorrow.
With joy we plant luscious fruits for tomorrow
Waiting for the new sprouting seeds to flower
With rich dirt on our hands, we bury our sorrow
For spring is the time for joy and golden hours.
Waiting for the new sprouting seeds to flower
With every turn, turn, there is profound reason
For spring is the time for joy and golden hours
On hope’s wings comes the new birth of a season.

Coming full circle here in this pantoum is absolutely perfect for the content as well as the form. I love that first and last line! This flows so well within the form and relating to Eccliastes.

Nice line: “With rich dirt on our hands, we bury our sorrow.” It seems good to bury sorrow in rich dirt.

Spring seems far away here; 1-3 inches of snow predicted for tomorrow. March seems to be in a bad mood this year! Love your thoughts of Spring, however!
