Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
Two blush pink poppies in a sea of vibrant strangers-
Pale papery petals fading, dying in morning sun

Author’s Note: Over at the Garden today, Toni is hosting and has asked us to Write a two line poem in which you convey some startling image, an image that juxtaposes two images. Her example is the poem by Ezra Pound:
In a Station of the Metro
The apparition of these faces in the crowd:
Petals on a wet, black bough.
Imaginary Garden with Real Toads: In a Station of the Metro
Your garden is growing juxtaposed poetry, just for you… I bet the imagery will become even stronger, after the sun kisses the poppies a few more times.

Thank you Magaly. Poor things, they only last a day in the sun.
