#Haibun: Morning Rain

The cool spring morning shower washes away the dust from the windy days. It’s a welcome relief to the dry land where water is a precious resource. Honeybees drink at the edge of puddles, and lizards hunt the insects emerging from the damp earth. A flurry of life occurs before the sun returns.
