#Troiku: Butterfly
spirit seeks solace
preparing for life journey
swift change is coming
joyful butterfly dreaming
emerging from chrysalis
a heart opening
soft whisper of wings
fluttering in the fresh air
nature’s miracle

Join us at Carpe Diem, where we have been given the word ‘butterfly’ to create a haiku, and then a Troiku. I used a haiku I created for Carpe Diem’s Light Retreat in March 2019 to create my Troiku.

I make a point of staying with 5-7-5… for the most part. Sometimes the first thought is the best, as long as it has the spirit of haiku.
