Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
“They both listened silently to the water, which to them was not just water, but the voice of life, the voice of Being, the voice of perpetual Becoming.”― Hermann Hesse
Water
Life by design
Deep and mysterious
Sweet melody of falling rain
Dripping
Origin of our creation
Luminous reflection
We…are water
Confined

Linda, this is gorgeous. Not just to read, but to look at. A drop of water in words. And with that image and Hesse quote – a perfect moment all around.

I love the Hesse quote, and your poem! Thanks, Linda. Yes, we are water, and I love how your last line reminds us that, in our bodies, we are water confined. Very cool.

Hmmm…….another instance of my comment not posting. I have to try so many ways to log in these days. Sigh. I love this poem, Linda! I love the insight in “We are water. Confined.” Something one doesnt often think about. I love the ” sweet melody of falling rain”! Here goes – let’s see if it works!
