Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
The garden once a battleground
Between her and the southwest desert
This Texas girl told nothing will grow
In this scorching desolate place
But with her strong will she persisted
Never giving up on her dream
Now today what once thought a silly folly
A beautiful garden of Eden thrives, lush and green
The likes of which this dry desert has never seen
