Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
“Always be like a water. Float in the times of pain or dance like waves along the wind which touches its surface.” ― Santosh Kalwar
When the waters rise I’ll go sailing
To the edge of this world
Finding my own little island
Somewhere beyond the horizon
I’ll swim in blue lagoon waters,
And gaze up into a sparkling sky
I’ll sleep in the arms of cool stars
Shimmering in an ebony night
And there I will live my life
Safely ensconced within
The fantasies of my mind
Where all is divine and kind

Oy. If only the waters didn’t rise; but I suppose they will. And we’ll all be sailors then & hopeful of finding those same soothing shores. Well wrought, Sister.
