Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
“There is no accident, just as there is no beginning and no end.” — Jackson Pollock
There is no accident just as there is no beginning and no end.
If there is no beginning, no moment we first breathe, how did we become?
Is the beginning a series of events that by design, not by accident
Fall into place, erase what was and create a new beginning?
And if our beginning is not real, is this life only a illusion
And thus our ending never ends, but only begins again?
There is no beginning, there is no end, and there is no accident
Then if nothing ends, nor begins, and nothing is an accident
How do we measure our thoughts, our desires, our very being?
And should we begin to ponder our desires, our precious life
Without astonishment and wonder, will that indeed create an end?
If our life has no beginning, does it also have no ending?
Life is what happens when you ignore beginnings and endings
And cherish each breath with no beginning and no end
