Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
“When the owl sings, the night is silent. (Quand le hibou chante, La nuit est silence)”
― Charles de Leusse
Three soft feathers lay at my feet
shed from a winged one flying high
On cool morning wind they did ride
before drifting down to the street
A lovely sight, ’tis bittersweet
the message they send me is clear
Know this, you have nothing to fear
My spirit abides in your heart
Our souls are one we’ll never part
For I will forever be near

Thank you for joining in. I enjoyed your poem, it seemed effortless, but then it should if you know what your doing. That’s where I have trouble. But I’m here to introduce to others, those who can’t teach. 🙂 Hope to see you next time. Continued fortune in your poetry and short story career.

How precious are the messages we receive from those who have taken wing…IF we are able to discern them. I love the tenderness of this poem.
