Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
“Dusty hydrangeas pale as robins’ eggs. Delphiniums iridescent as butterfly wings. Cornflowers the hazy blue of the summer skies”
― Ella Griffin, The Flower Arrangement
Given the chance to start anew
To embrace my future with glee
Grateful to be free of disease
I paint my life in shades of blue.
As I bid those grey skies adieu
Chasing long shadows in dark nooks
Sad memories not worth the look
I’ll dream of how sweet life can be
If only I pause time and see
All the beauty in my life’s book.
