In Praise of the Sun, 2

Milk glass clouds
kiss a turquoise sky
as tangerine sun arises
Crisp cold breeze
welcomes with ease
sweet dawning of a new day

Mother earth breathes deep
as song birds in time peep
the overture of fresh morn
Another brilliant day comes
as black night succumbs
to the tender warmth
of God’s healing light
