A Chance In-Sight

Those in-between 
moments of time slipping, 
sliding in-out of shadowy light 
gone forever from fragile sight
fading in-to foggy haze
an in-finite gliding away
reality in-flux with fantasy
vivid fluidity in-memory
ticking, ticking off seconds
minutes and hours in-flight
Life in-turn soaring away, 
in-fused with simple delights
an in-depth clarity of mind 
with a chance in-sight to slip away 
from this earthly plane and write.

  3. A fascinating study of the little word “in”. I once performed a speech in Toastmasters Club that centered around the little word “up”. This reminded me of that exploration! Well penned, my friend.

    Count me “in”. This was an enjoyable read, I find “in-between time” on the edge of the bed after being all ready for sleep. I compose entire poems or a good start often sitting there wit4h my smart phone.
