Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
I have demystified my
Womanly curves
They have lost their edgy sharpness,
Becoming obscured and blurred
By the ravages of time
On this aging goddess body
Where illusions and ego have no place
In these fleeting final hours
And now, nothing more to do
But to embrace
With humility and grace
The pull of gravity’s power

What choice is there except to accept that which is inevitable with Grace. 💙

I imagine a smooth stone with the illusions and ego being sloughed off. I like the image and the musical selections you chose to go with your poem, Linda.
