Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
Shivering leaves in morning breeze
as breath forms whispering clouds
Quiet garden is still, creatures asleep
under warmth of fallen dead leaves.
Yellow orbs cloaked in waxy green
on the gnarled lemon tree
while high in the lush mesquite,
Grey-brown Thrasher sings to dawn.

This reads in lovely, classical style, and uses nature’s best to give your words real tribute…wonderful, and exotic too, for me living in Europe..

What a lovely and serene picture of a new, breaking day. I love the addition of the Thrasher because what is morning without birdsong?
