Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
A flock of dreams feast
On ancient buried memories
Such lush, verdant, fertile browse
Nourishes my weary soul
and feeds my ravenous spirit
Each sacred breath,
A river flowing over stones
Trickling through pulsing veins~
Air- precious tether that binds me
~Forever to life

After a start like that..the first lines ..the poem had to be very special to continue what had been opened….of course it was…a flourish of thoughts …eloquently expressed..

The way you parallel the stream to veins is brilliant… water is so precious especially for someone living in the desert

Thank you for your beautiful verdant offering Linda… And also for the invitation for me to spend a few moments of distraction, browsing the rocky highways of the Highlands with goats at earnest play.

Love your verse with the image and the reflection in the water reminds me so much of the subconscious mind where dreams are born. The flow of breath and dreams are both so sacred! 👏👏
