The Sky Cries

Melancholy dawn
clouds once radiant, now ponderous

weighing down the pearly gray aura

My thoughts align with the heavens

becoming jumbled, tumbled

unorganized and haphazard

void of luminous light

waiting, waiting, waiting

for the overburdened sky

to open up and at last cry

nourishing earth with

cleansing tears as my own sustains

and renews my tired soul.

Glory!
It’s raining.
