Beware of people

Who steal energy essence

Lost souls drain spirit

Unaware vampires

Pulling life’s blood from heartbeats

Seeking sustenance

Survival depends

On magnified awareness

Protection is key.

  1. Thanks, I like that Senryu, maybe I should offer that form of poetry every week with this haiku challenge, I nearly didn’t do one this week as the response is very poor.
