I bend, I sway with the wind,
I hang my majestic head and surround you
Offering shelter when the world is falling down
Baring my soul’s scars to your heart.
I will never break, I will never give up
My roots will run deep, through granite crust, rocky layers,
hardened clay to get to you, my cool water
You are the river.
