Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing

-By Linda Lee Lyberg
That which quenches
A parched thirst
Desolate hunger
Lonely wanting
An aching yearning
Is it not sustenance
For the withered mind
The deserted soul
A forlorn heart
The throbbing body?
Or a riotous cacophony
of thwarted emotions?

Author’s Note: Caring for my little dog today, so re-publishing one of my favorites.
