The Lion and The Rose

The lion hungered for the rose
for she was his only obsession
the alluring scent of her
His nostrils flared and he knew
He kissed her
pouting mouth
while she tempted his
animal craving
he caressed her
feminine
hips
with his tanned and weathered
and lingered on luscious
breasts
his kisses on pink mountains
stirred the blooming
flower
When he’d had his fill of heated
skin
he moved below to
the pink blossom
as she opened silken
thighs
Soul stirring and erotic. I found myself wishing for the lion’s company.
