Effervescent
Serve me cold champagne every day
and let’s dance in pale evening’s light
clinging to one another, dipping, swaying
to lulling sounds of nature’s orchestral night.
There’s nothing like the taste
of tiny effervescent bubbles
clouding our ancient minds,
resulting in a carefree muddle.

Love love love the slant rhyme of “bubbles” and “muddle,” especially. 🙂
