Masterpiece

Collecting porcelain pieces of her fractured heart
the girl once so innocent, now wary and guarded
works to ease the pain from the knifelike shards
creating a masterpiece out of her broken parts.
Taking delicate fragments, she puts them into a mold
each piece a memory in the intricate winding maze
of love between a man, a woman, all the heart holds
as she melds them together with hot molten gold.
Because, they are her priceless treasures.
This was really super. Always love the topic of putting things back together and moving forward. Beautifully penned, Ms. Charmed!
