Quenching rain
 
swells desert washes

 
flooding over barren flats
 
reviving arid copper landscape
 
turquoise green

This week, I opted for a Sidlak poem for Elsie’s Weekly Poetry Challenge -Week 110- water & thirst.

Sidlak Poetry – is a structured poetry consisting of five lines with 3-5-7-9 syllables and a color. The last line must be a color that describes the whole poem or the feeling of the writer.
