Mighty Gabriel cloud in peach sherbet sky
Kissing goodnight to the sinking sun
When waxing moon shines, rising on nigh
Mourning for the glorious day is over, done

Angel spreading his gossamer wings, flies
Mourning for the glorious day is over, done
As he soars into the cobalt black night


Angel spreading his gossamer wings, flies
Surrounded by a thousand twinkling stars
As he soars into the cobalt black night
Ever higher, ascending to Venus and Mars


Surrounded by a thousand twinkling stars
