I Gave My Life

Lo, I gave my life for you sweet maiden fair asking naught from thy coral peach lips

But only to brush my fingers through soft golden hair and gaze in blue eyes while my heart trips

All I ask when once I am laid in a grey marbled grave please visit this holy place

And on the cold stone lay, a blood red rose with a loving note so again I am graced with your beautiful face

  1. Sigh. Okay, with admit that I’m a romantic at heart, as this poem tugs at this heart string of mine. Only if, someone would do this for me.
