What Comes Around

“Because you have been blessed with the gift of life, it is your duty to help others. We are all responsible for one another.”  ― Kamand Kojouri

What lies before us can be found
in the sins of our tainted past.
Our fate in hard stone has been cast
with mistakes and failures profound;
Leaving us confused and spellbound.
And yet there is hope high above
soaring on white wings of a dove
look within our true hearts and see
seek the goodness and set it free
revolution begins with love

  2. Ooh, I love this. The rhyme scheme is great and the meaning in this piece is powerful. I also like how it ends on a hopeful note as well. Excellent take on the prompt! This is a beautiful poem.

  3. Revolution begins with love, I really like the concluding line Linda. I am hopeful of our future when we show compassion and love for others and ourself.
