Whisper of Autumn

“Autumn…the year’s last, loveliest smile.”

Indian Summer]”
― John Howard Bryant

Cool whisper
of autumn in dawn’s
morning breeze
despite the
brazen sun’s warmth on my face
refreshing relief

  2. Amen to that. I love the cool air – even though ours is smoky, the relief from heat lightens our hearts. Autumn has always been my favorite for those reasons -brazen sun and cool whisper of a breeze.
