Musings on Life, Love, and Linguine-Poetry & Writing
Night whispers mysteries, beckoning come savor the evening’s essence damp earth, sweet jasmine, and white lilies
I only want to ease your heart for you to see I’ll never part I will seek your delicious lips on which I’ll place a tender kiss ne’er to depart
If I could I would paint the gleaming sky with your lovely eyes so everyone would know how precious is your soul
In my youth I expected wild displays of affection but over these many years upon intense reflection I’ve come to enjoy the quiet presence of your steady love for it is so much more than I ever dreamed of.
