Tarnished Heart

Polish my tarnished heart
With your divine love
Fill in all the fissures
From broken promises
And shattered dreams
Flowing in the rivers
Of my fatigued soul.

Inspire me with your smile
That lights a dreary room
Drench me in your laughter
Heal my scars and wounds
Wrap me in your arms
And hold me ever after
Polish my tarnished heart.
