Truth

The Measure of a Man

The grit of a man is measured
When you look into his eyes
Is he one to be treasured
Or is he made of lies.

Does he look at you with no remorse
No judgement or bitter reprove
Does his heart stay the true course
Or is his soul removed.
And if you’ve found an honest man
Hold tight, don’t let him go
For he’ll always be your biggest fan
And your faithful loving beau.
