Dazzling
-Linda Lee Lyberg
With a smile as dazzling as the morning sun
Shining through the dark stormy skies
An unwavering stare leaves me undone
When he sees the longing within my eyes.
Shining through the dark stormy skies
His luscious lips are tender and sweet
When he sees the longing within my eyes
He pulls me close, sweeps me off my feet.
His luscious lips are tender and sweet
When he presses my body ever near
He pulls me close, sweeps me off my feet
His true intentions are at last made clear.
When he presses my body ever near
An unwavering stare leaves me undone
His true intentions are at last made clear
With a smile as dazzling as the morning sun.

A nice Pantoum poem! I’ve written one. I’m thinking of writing that form again soon. I’ve written three Villanelle poem. I’m participating Weekly Tanka.

Thank you! I see that you write all forms of poem. That’s wonderful. I try to write easy to follow forms, rather than counting words to rhyme. There are a few more forms I like to try. I go to a poetry group, they usually write free verses. I do that a lot also!
