God’s Place

I sit with reverence in God’s place
Marveling at divine creation
In silence, love and sweet grace
Filling my soul with awe and elation.

Marveling at divine creation
I see the hand of God at play
Filling my soul with awe and elation
He keeps my grievous sorrows at bay.

I see the hand of God at play
As he touches my anguished soul
He keeps my grievous sorrows at bay
With ardent prayer making me whole.
As he touches my anguished soul
In silence, love and sweet grace
With ardent prayer making me whole
I sit with reverence in God’s place.
