Radiant Sun

The radiant sun it doth persist
Shining all through light of day
Though clouds within its midst
He holds the stormy rain at bay

 
Shining all through the light of day
Ra never tires of his brilliant light
He holds the stormy rain at bay
As he fends off the coming night

 
Ra never tires of his brilliant light
Evening approaches all too soon
As he fends off the coming night
Setting orb passes light to moon

 
Evening approaches all too soon
Though clouds within its midst
Setting orb passes light to moon
The radiant sun it doth persist
