The Wizard
-Linda Lee Lyberg
The wizard weaves his magic spell
Enlightening all who will harken
Chanting words, ringing Merlin’s bell
Reverberating skies begin to darken
He’s casting out the evil demons
All those with sinful wicked ways
And if you are a godless heathen
He’ll light your soul in a fiery blaze
From his sorcery there is no escape
He’ll transform your cruel soul
Visible to all, your true shape
What’s this, you’re now a troll.
From his eyes, you cannot hide
For he sees beyond your shell
Knowing where your heart lies
And where your true soul dwells.
