Day’s Rage
-Linda Lee Lyberg
Divine day rages against dark night
As a fiery sun hangs low in the sky
Sacred light will not run from the fight
Though Mother moon is looming nigh
As a fiery sun hangs low in the sky
Colors vivid as a Van Gogh landscape
Though Mother moon is looming nigh
Once brilliant, day refuses to accept fate
Colors vivid as a Van Gogh landscape
Wavering sun will not accept defeat
Once brilliant, day refuses to accept fate
When at last breath sunset sighs, retreats
Wavering sun will not accept defeat
Sacred light will not run from the fight
When at last breath sunset sighs, retreats
Divine day rages against dark night

Overcome
“Wavering sun will not accept defeat / Once brilliant, day refuses to accept fate” All of this is nice, I just grabbed a phrase that I enjoyed. Nice work!
