Praying Mantis
Stout beast of the insect world
Preys on hummingbirds
Driven by hunger
Rapid reflexes, spiked arms
Agile deathly grip.

I didn’t know they preyed on hummingbirds! I love hummingbirds!

I didn’t either until my daughter told me. She sent me the link I put in my post. She took the photo this morning and the mantis was very near one of her hummingbird feeders. She has since moved the feeder.
