Forsake

Please

Do not

Forsake me

In these golden

Hours, when amber sun spills its light upon

Our bodies casting softening shadows

Le petit mort

Basking in

Sunlight’s

Flame.

This is my response to Mick’s poetry challenge. This week, I have chosen a double Tetractys. The form is a syllable count for each line. A single is 1,2,3,4,10. A double is 1,2,3,4,10,10,4,3,2,1. Give it a go!
