Thrust

Be still my thudding heart
lurking in his veiled eyes
seeking the meaning of love.
of my body, mind, and soul
he yearns for alluring mysteries
and wanton fantasies untold.
Calling to him from the ether beyond
for my passion is ready and primed
I ache to take in any short breaths
as each thrust holds firm to sublime.
As the tremors race between us
we pause and come up for air
knowing that we want this to last
until our true emotions lay bare.
I look up at him and he down at me
both captives in this bewitching spell
and as we drown in one another’s eyes
our two souls come together and meld.
Bravo! Loved the emotion and rhythm of this poem!
