In dew kissed morning hours
tiny cottoned seed takes flight
lands among Spring’s wildflowers
seeking sun’s resplendent light.
Tiny cottoned seed takes flight
Swirling high in cloud swept air
seeking sun’s resplendent light
golden dandelion maiden fair.
Swirling high in cloud swept air
yearning to find a forever home
golden dandelion maiden fair
wanting no more to float and roam.
Yearning to find a forever home
lands among Spring’s wildflowers
wanting no more to float and roam
in dew kissed morning hours.
