I got a thing for that Aries girl
would you mind trading places
So I can give her a wild whirl?
but you owe be a big favor
Can you get me a spot near Libra
When her scales tip, they make me quaver!
his closest starry-eyed friend
and explains to him in detail
the Ursa Major bind he is in.
Dude, can you do me a solid
and move across Mr. Big-shot sun
go and shine where Taurus does
and I’ll owe you a huge one.
When all of the constellations agreed
the stars re-arranged high in the sky
Taurus the bull got his Libra Scale girl
while Leo and Aries made star love shine.
Today’s prompt for NaPoWriMo was to use a statement of something impossible, and then write a poem in which the impossible thing happens. I chose: The stars cannot rearrange themselves in the sky.
Entertaining
