Voice of Caution

His voice is worthless, echoes from afar
I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry
But sorry, with all it’s breadth and scars
is not the meaningful word she longs to hear
she wants LOVE reverberating in her ears
for LOVE is the panacea to heal all tears.
And there is a warning written on her heart-
Caution, she loves with thoughts of no regrets
forego the empty notion of saying I’m sorry
But fill in her voids of vast emptiness
and heal the wounds she’d like to forget.
If you prevail in giving her, a balm of healing love
curing her distressed and dis-eased soul
she’ll put down her sword, give up her fight
and bathe you in her illuminating light.
